Who We Are

TrueMap is a review platform built and operated by Desert Rose FZE., a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. We launched TrueMap with a single conviction: people deserve to know the truth about the places they spend their time and money.

Unlike traditional review platforms where anyone can post anything anonymously, TrueMap requires every review to be backed by real, verifiable evidence — a receipt, a bank transaction, or equivalent proof of visit. Before a review goes live, our moderation team checks it against that evidence. This means every review you read on TrueMap reflects a genuine experience.

What Makes TrueMap Different

Evidence-backed reviews — every published review is supported by private verification materials reviewed by our team before publication.
Pre-publication moderation — reviews go through human moderation within 72 hours, not after the damage is done.
Fair to businesses and Fair to Client — we operate under UAE law and take defamation seriously. Businesses have a formal complaints process and a guaranteed response within 3 business days. We may cooperate client with business to resolve their problem.
Promo Codes for honest reviewers — users who contribute verified reviews are rewarded with exclusive discount codes from local businesses.
Privacy first — evidence materials are never published and are permanently deleted after moderation is complete.

Our Platform

TrueMap is available on iOS via the Apple App Store and on the web at truemap.org. The platform covers cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and other commercial establishments across the UAE.

Users can browse as guests or register with an email address, Apple ID, or Google Account to access the full feature set — including the ability to write reviews and unlock Promo Codes.

Operating Under UAE Law

TrueMap was built with UAE law at its core. We operate in full compliance with Federal Decree-Law No. 31/2021 (Penal Code), Federal Decree-Law No. 34/2021 (Cybercrimes Law), and Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021 (Personal Data Protection Law). We believe a review platform can only be valuable when it operates with legal and ethical integrity.
